5 HEALTHY SNACK IDEAS


One of the biggest challenges with eating well is figuring out what some healthy snacks are. Here are 5 of my favorites.


Frozen Blueberries with Cinnamon and Coconut Flakes

1/2 cup organic frozen blueberries 

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes 


Total calories: 84 calories

Total fat: 3.3 grams

Total carbs: 12 grams

Total sugar: 8 grams


Chopped Cucumber, Cherry Tomato, English Peas and Fresh Mint Salad

1 persian cucumber, sliced 

6 cherry tomatoes, halved 

1/2 cup english peas, boiled 

1 tbps. fresh mint, chopped 

1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp. red wine vinegar 

salt to taste

Total Fat: 5 grams

Total Carbs: 20 grams 

Total Sugar: 11 grams 

Total Protein: 7 grams 



Goat's Milk Kefir 

8 ounces goat's milk kefir

Some people have a hard time drinking plain Kefir on it's own, so if that's the case, some fresh berries or dark chocolate are a nice addition. 



Raw or Dry Roasted Cashews or Almonds

30 grams (about 15 cashews) of dry roasted, unsalted, whole cashews
